The Cogent RP C4™ HPLC Column is a relatively low carbon load Reversed Phase stationary phase with low hydrophobicity. The 100A particle is ideal for typical reversed phase methods for "mildly" hydrophobic, small molecule samples. These columns could be used in normal phase HPLC if desired. A wide range of particle sizes are available.
The 100a or 300A porosity are available in 3, 5 or 10um particle size. The wider pore size distribution is our Most Popular C4 phase and is used routinely for separation of small to medium size proteins, peptides, enzymes and other bio-separations due to its non-polar ligand.
